Albums & Photo Book Options

Yes! We offer foil stamping on Layflat and Flush Mount albums. Foil stamping is a process in which you can personalize the cover of your book with a name or small message. We have multiple font styes and sizes to choose from. maximum number of characters will depend upon the size book and the foil stamping you selected. Your message is then stamped into the cover material with a color foil or blind debased with no color.

Currently you can add 1 line of text on front cover and one on the spine. The only cover that will not accept foil stamping on the spine is the Flush Mount Album with genuine leather. This cover has a curved spine and does not accept foil stamping at this time.

PLEASE NOTE: Foil stamped or debossed covers must be configured on the production selection page. The editing tool does not currently support editing the foil stamping in the software. If you do not like the way it looks in the software, you must go back the the selection page to redo the cover. You must be 100% sure of your cover before starting your book layout as if you want to make changes, you will need to start your layout all over again. Please see the video below for additional guidance on this process.

Eco- leather is a synthetic leather look alike. It has a clean, consistent look, and the feel of real leather (see top book in photo photo below). It’s an excellent alternative to real leather, giving you the same look for less money.

Real leather is handcrafted from leather hides and may have slight variation in the texture, adding to its natural authenticity and buttery feel. It’s truly magnificent! Our upgraded leather covers also have a more padded look adding even more luxury to your book (see bottom book in photo below). Working with real leather is a little more labor intensive and it also has a higher material cost so it’s considered an upgrade to our standard eco-leather cover.

Actually, this is wrong. Eco-leather is made of real animal hide, and the prefix “eco” refers to the tanning process (vegetable/low environmental impact). If leather is made with non-animal materials, it cannot be called eco-leather, but rather it should be called “synthetic” or “faux”/”fake”.
