Hi I'm Amy. I grew up in the OC. Cypress actually, which is about one minute long in between Seal Beach and Fullerton. After graduating San Diego State, and when I was 5 month pregnant with the number one we got restless. We stuffed everything we couldn't sell into a bright blue Subaru and skipped town, wind in our hair. Now we live in a suburb of Richmond VA. I get asked all the time if I miss it, and, (of course) I miss the weather. But I'm finding Richmond life quite refreshing. I would love to be able to see the beach more often, before I could get there in 15 minutes. But we have really beautiful scenery here too, and there's a lot more of it. I wouldn't go back. Too much smog and too many people, I always say (actually thats the first time I've ever said that). I have found a passion in photography and I spend most of my time learning about photography or taking pictures. It's been an evolution of sorts, but I have discovered that I love love love wedding and portrait photography. I love creating the lasting memories that my clients will cherish. In our world we get to share our lives with nearly everyone we've ever met, but I am hoping to create for the future generation a way to share the past.  I also love to cook, and look for delicious and easy ways to feed the fam. I love to snowboard, (cough, window) shop and and make crafty things. Sometimes I feel like I have to have a cute mini dog to be a creditable photographer :) but alas, we merely have two cats. I'm comfortable with that. Dewy Underpants is the youngest, he's a lap kitty. We picked him up from Richmond Animal League during a stint of parental carpe diem. He has a permanent sad face, it's super cute. Jaws is one year older, more standoffish, loves to be present but not really handled. It's a good balance.
