It’s safe to say that when I first picked up a camera, I had no idea of how much it would change my life and even less of an idea about how many other women’s lives it would change!

I’ve always been fascinated by the lives of other women. In fact, one of my favorite quotes is by Georgia O’Keeffe:

“I feel there is something unexplored about woman that only a woman can explore.”

My first encounter with boudoir photography was on the other side of the camera and when I experienced the shift in how I felt about myself, I knew I had to make boudoir my life’s work. It was the key I’d been looking for. It’s a way of freeing other women from negative body image, self-criticism, and the shame they often feel about being a sexual creature.

As a photographer and a woman, I can’t think of a better combination than boudoir photography to bring confidence to a woman.
