The “About” page is always tricky – how do talk about yourself without sounding like a total egomaniac? I was first going to tell you about my background, but that would be boring for you; you probably don’t really care about what happened to me when I was 8. You probably want to know about who I am now and what makes me tick. So here we go:
· I am French, so my sense of humor might be a little weird, but I like it. So does my wife.
· Photography is my passion. It allows me to feel free, creative and happy. What I love the best is to capture an honest emotion on someone’s face. Social photography is my specialty.
· I used to be a financial controller before being a photographer. This is where I learned to be meticulous and conscientious. Then I learned that it was super boring to stay behind a desk and that I needed more human connection.

The “About” page is always tricky – how do talk about yourself without sounding like a total egomaniac? I was first going to tell you about my background, but that would be boring for you; you probably don’t really care about what happened to me when I was 8. · I used to be a financial controller before being a photographer. This is where I learned to be meticulous and conscientious. Then I learned that it was super boring to stay behind a desk and that I needed more human connection.
· If I was on a desert island and had to chose 3 foods to take with me, it would definitely be cheese, charcuterie, and a baguette. I’m French.
· I love my family so much. My wife is the most important person in my life. She is my best friend, partner, lover and confidant. My two children are treasures to me. They bring so much life and love. These are the people that push me to be a better man, husband, father and therefore, a better photographer.
· As for drinks, my grandmother used to tell me L’eau, ça rouille (water rusts) – in other words, drink wine or nothing at all. Did I mention I’m French?
· I like to think of myself as an athletic guy. But other than a couple of years’ goalkeeping on a soccer rec league, I’m pretty lame. Thought, I’m always up for trying new challenges.
· I was born in 1982. Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Back to the Future are pretty much the best movies ever.
· I love Apple. Like, the brand .
· I asked my close friends to describe me: passionate, adventurous and sensitive were what they used the most. They know me well :)
· I love travelling. Like, REALLY love it. I’ve visited more than 30 countries in the past 10 years. Travelling is the best way to learn about others, and of course really get to know yourself in the process. See some of my adventures in Asia here: The Wayfarer’s Path.
· Roadtrips are awesome. Especially driving down the Pacific Coast Highway 1 listening to Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
· Music is super important to me and my work. I love all kinds: The Beach Boys, Cake, Daft Punk, Frank Sinatra, Kalkbrenner, George Brassens, Harry Connick Jr, Lisa Ekdahl, Macklemore, Mumford & Sons, Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, etc.
· I volunteer for the SOPHIE PROJECT created by Kirsten Lewis, documentary family photographer. The SOPHIE PROJECT is a group of photographers that offer free lifestyle or family photo shoots to parents of terminally ill children. This project will help the parents preserve some important memories with their child. I hope to help in any small way.
· The best gift I can receive is the words of a happy client after a shoot.
